Set out in the cooler morning and late-afternoon hours with an experienced guide, moving between woodland, floodplain and seasonal wetland. Moremi is especially rewarding for predators, elephant and the antelope drawn to its contrasting habitats, although every sighting remains wonderfully unscripted.
Explore Xakanaxa Lagoon and the deeper Okavango channels by motorboat, where open water, papyrus and reed beds reveal a different side of Moremi. These outings are particularly rewarding for birdlife, water-adapted wildlife and an unhurried sense of the Delta’s scale.
